Style

Resolution Capital is a long-term active investment manager. We seek to invest in a select range of listed property entities which provide exposure to owners, managers and developers of real estate assets that are expected to generate superior risk adjusted total returns.

While our investment research approach is consistent across our products, our portfolio construction style differs between domestic and global portfolios.

For our global mandates the portfolio composition typically diverges significantly from the Benchmark. The portfolio will comprise a concentrated selection of stocks in which we have high conviction. We also adopt a multi-portfolio manager approach which means the global portfolio is split into at least two independent components, with each Portfolio Manager constructing their highest conviction global portfolio.

In the domestic arena, our style differs from the global approach in two fundamental areas. Firstly, the domestic portfolio is based on a core investment style with less divergence from the portfolio benchmark. Secondly, we do not run a multi-manager approach for domestic portfolio construction.
